Ⅰ. To remember that:
✔ My name is Toris Laurinaitis, and that I represent the country of Lithuania.
✔ I am physically n i n e t e e n years of age, and I celebrate a birthday on February 16th.
✔ I really like rotating condiments, classic literature, theme parks and martial arts; also that I only seem to purchase second-hand cars.
✔ I often become overly excited about my basketball team,
E u r o v i s i o n,commercials introducing new and cutting-edge Eco-friendly cleaning supplies, gardening and Disney movies.
✔ I amsometimes problematicallybest friends with one of my neighbors, blindly i n f a t u a t e d with another, as of yet unresolved with the third and with the fourth...a somewhat awful excuse for an older brother-figure.
Ⅱ. When I wake up:
✔ Quickly scribble some notes from whatever dream I had.
✔ Some nights I dream about being a young boy growing up alongside the Baltic, the dunes, the forests and rivers too old to name. I remember fighting for my right to a political existence as one of the last Pagan states, for the right to worship what my ancestors handed to me through strange amber stones which washed upon the beach.
✔ A reoccurring dream is my time in the Rye fields, the only time Poland and I ever really got along. It was so nice...I can even remember my more bitter experiences fondly nowadays.
☐ Take my medication. Any dreams about my time as a Russian territory must also be remembered, and sometimes I...I need a little help with that. E-Even if some of them are bad, there were a few good times too! Before the Soviet Union, before the World Wars, I’d...I’m sorry, but I’ll spare you the details in relation t-to that.
✔ Rejoice in the blessing that is independence and try not to get too depressed at how short it very well may be.
Ⅲ. The day:
✔ “Hard worker, good personality.” -America
✔ “...but the one I’d watch out for is Lithuania, even if he looks like he wouldn’t hurt a fly. Lithuania’s troops were abnormally high in morale, it made me shudder. His leadership was superb, and it frightened me at how good he was at raising his people’s spirits. He’s usually so kind, but in battle his aura and face change. “ -Finland
✔ “Lithuania hardly complains, and always holds the pain in; that kid always worries about others before himself, a bit of a busybody.” – Russia
☐ “This is the battlefield! You should have been alert no matter how much it seemed like you had the upper hand! Have you been so blinded by desire that you forgot about what it takes to be a knight?” -Lithuania
✔ Chronic worry-wart; assumes the worst 99% of the time, but can suddenly become an resourceful optimist if the situation is dire.
✔stubbornA lot of patience.
☐ Easily manipulated; gullible.
✔ Politely stand-offish at first, but welcomes strangers into his heart once he gets to know them better.
☐ Tends to be oblivious to his own needs and feelings. This can sometimes manifest itself negatively, but it's a rare occurence.
✔ Very preachy if he feels comfortable with you. It's one of the ways that he shows he cares.
Ⅳ. Before bed:
✔ Lithuania is the geographical center of Europe.
✔ The language is the oldest living of the Indo-European line.
✔ The last nation to convert from Paganism to Christianity.
✔ Oldest of the Baltic states.
✔ The first to declare independence successfully from the Soviet Union in 1991, after many attempts to rebel in the past.
☐ Highest suicide rate in the world.
✔ Has only had one king in its entire history.
✔ While America was swinging buffalo as a child, Lithuania was pitching Germans to bears.
